purchase supplies or clothing for the children and so they really appreciate
supplies we can send them.</font></span></p>

<p><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">At present we are able to get some
supplies to the Special Needs group in our dormitory via the trekkers with the
Killimanjaro expedition. We have to be careful choosing the things we send,
i.e. bulky, heavy things aren’t practical to ship)<span>  </span>The supplies they can use are:</font></span></p>

<p><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3"> </font></span></p>

<ul style="margin-top:0cm">
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Clothing – fleece, and nylon (cotton an wool clothing
     tends to wear out and is more difficult to clean.</font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:medium">School supplies - </span><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">such as pens, pencils, sharpeners, 
     chalk, duster, foolscap,  </font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Child development
     and psychology books,  plastic blocks, (fixing blocks) (e.g. lego) </font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Play materials
      skipping ropes, balls (a deflated soccer ball goes a long way) </font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Plasticine (modelling clay)  </font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Bedding (if you put
     out a call for bedding to your friends, you will be inundated with worn
     sheets - I don’t know what else to say, maybe send a couple good sets and
     save the rest for rags -  the limitation is the 50 lb baggage rule)   Think bed in a bag.</font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">Stapler,  paper
     punch files  (probably anything practical for filing - including a Saskatchewan
     briefcase) </font></span></li>
 <li><span lang="EN-US"><font size="3">If we could get more
     computers, we would teach our children without speech AAC.(Augmented
     Alternative comm.) We are hoping to get electricity soon. (lots of
     people have out-of-date laptops that are still good over there)  Anything
     else that can be used . </font></span></li>
